Today should be amusing... And lo, it did come down from on high (the office of the head ITSO) that those who did not complete the mandatory security training were to have their accounts disabled forthwith.
With good speed the sysadmin rushed to carry out their wishes, for he not only wished to remain in the good graces of the ITSO, but also relished the chaos that was sure to ensue. Moreover, any complaints could and would be met with the answer: "Please see the ITSO regarding this. Thank you".
And there was much wailing and gnashing of teeth. And the sysadmin looked out upon what he had wrought, and smiled, for it was good.

Comments This story lacks the part where the ITSO hadn't completed the mandatory training. -Calydor *grin* That's an automated thing for us - you have to change your password every 90 days, and when the expiration of the yearly Security / Rules of Behavior training happens during your next password cycle, you /have/ to successfully complete the test before you can finish the password change. Self-limiting problem.... - Grue And all the sysadmin's people said: Amen. -AmazingKreskin
