Amen to that brother!
(The comment in your bio.) -Kurgan thanks for the research, I started removing components to narrow down the effected files/drivers. The problem gets better once i disconed my dvd and zip. I also reinstalled Norton and its a little better, but N doesnt find any viruses. I will just quarentine the whole comp and wait for a week trying various item. Thanks again for the help -burrkiss Did you try talking about the Special "Programs" Menu for when you can't see the Icon on the Screen? Really, it makes a List, you can just pick your program of the list, even if the Icon is covered by another Window, or if, like me, you dont feel like searching for the Icon list - Just click Start, then Click Programs. -satanstech I was the most recent one to post a spam (that I thought had a funny subject line) very similar to yours, jibberish. Mine wasn't selling anything, no link, no hidden gif. Some people jumped down my throat. See the Soap Box on the main page. I personally don't have a problem with it. -JohnnyCache (X-posted cuz the story is about to fall below the cut...) What, Grembo? Just a can of dialtone? An IC punch for checking the wall wires would've been more fun... <EG> Ah, sending my n00bs for AE punches and buckets of steam... fun times... -MadJack Grembo, May I recommend returnil for your neighbor's moron? I've been using it on some of my more "adventuresome" clients. ANYTHING done to the machine is lost at rebooot. (Just make sure the Documents and Settings folders are on a separate partition)
-Divinar Hey, I do tech support for fruity computers in Oregon too! Are you in Portland or Bend? -LaFiamma
