Bio: I'm out of the call center now (thank God!), but I was in CS for a huge PC manufacturer (Think, Dude...), and I ran into the same kind of crap I see posts about here all the time.

yes i was-i was msn and dell but now im known as postal tech here on techcomedy -postal tech Nope, none of those. I'm in Biddeford, I'm sure you've seen the retarded ads on TV lately, $9.95 for 3 months of dialup. -Dslfan Hit the nail on the head. I did work there in the past. The contaract with the annoying butterfly. -techskier It was A,2,C,4... -pcOFFb4NICin dude, when you get a moment, email me...rockhall73@yahoo.com Thanks. -da5ve hey! thanks. anthrax was great once they took on john bush. so much better without that hairmetal high-pitched nonsense. did you ever hear an old sp called "i'm the man"? great stuff. i think it was around the same time they were jammin with public enemy, all that rap rubbed off on them! take care >=P -goblin69 <TechOgre works his toe into the dirt> Well, I actually just copied it. The script says [BONK!]. However, I agree with you that the sound actually created is more of a Thwack! sound than the (as written) bonk sound. If they were hitting a coconut or starfish head, then they might expect the lovely, hollow, bonk sound. 8-) -TechOgre I'm in the SE area of MI. We don't get near as much snow as they do further north. -JustAGirl PaseoGuy, you asked about the "motherf*ckin phone booth" quotes? There is a recording going around the Internet of someone who is supposedly calling 911 for a "bambulance" because he hit a deer with his car and only stunned it and somehow the deer has him and his dog treed in the phone booth and the dog is biting him or some such... One of the oft-repeated lines in that recording is "I'm at the motherf*ckin' phone booth at the Stop and Go!" Evidently VacuumTubes has just recently heard that and has adopted that as his tag line. IMHO it beats his first one about Gitmo and the gas pipe... -chazz I hope that you don't mind a slight nitpick. You described the Colecovision Adam as "the only computer I've ever seen with a video game cartridge slot on the cpu". There were others, though. The earliest computer I'm aware of with that is the Texas Intruments TI-99/4a, which had 4 kB of memory. (I think it came before the Odyssey, and not vice-versa.) Since then, Commodore had the Vic-20 and the Commodore 64, while Atari had the 400, the 800, the 600XL, the 800XL, and a few others. And yes, game cartirdges were released for all of them, and at least most of them predate the Adam. No offense intended, I just thought you might be interested. -HidariMak Hey man, PaseoGuy as in the car Paseo (Toyota)? -ElPolloDiablo
