Bio: I live in Toronto, Canada. I work on the Helpdesk at the head office of a major Canadian confectionary retailer, supporting both the office starfish (sales and marketing uber-stupid types) and the storefish who find new ways to screw up our point of sale terminals on a daily basis. When I'm not being driven to self-medicate by star/storefishes, I'm generally found at home on my mac, or tinkering with my new linux box to see if I can figure out what a root is. I live with a menagerie which includes one fat tuxedo cat, two Siamese cats, two Greyhounds, a ball python, and a 16-year old skin-kid. No partridges or pear trees though, my landlord wouldn't like it.

Russian Blues aren't all that way. Tad totally understands girlfriends. If he sees me kissing someone, they are on the "A" list.they get snuggles , head rubs and a great deal of purring. -mwad

Girl i used to work with's home town is were they film trailor park boys. i assume the choco icecream purveyor happens to be named after a cow chasing youth that helped defeat an invading army? -Harm
2 points for guessing where I'm at ~L~ and another crazy canuck on the board is a good thing ~L~ -halitech
Well holy shit! I guess I'm the only one on here who thought to whiteboard themselves!! (I dare ya to prove me wrong - anyone else do it before me, 1:55 am EDT May 14, 2006?) -TechnoCat
It WAS only our street, I think. The sub that blew was the one at the cross walk. I can see west, as well, as east, and the lights were on in the streets back of the townhouses! The power here came back on at about 0015, so I'm guessing that you live north of me. Belated welcome, by the way! Like my namesake, I tend to sit in the shadows, unseen. -Bagheera
No, you're not the only person to whiteboard themself.... -Grue
Hi TC, meetup in Toronto 26/Aug/06...interested? More info in the breakroom under "Tour de Lineswines" -lineswine
TechnoCat-our tech bench is behind closed doors, this customer i guess decided that the sign saying "Employees Only" does not include him. Our managr did not follow our regular procedure for checking in a customer unit, he did not sign the privacy disclosure, there for i am not liable for the lost of any of his information be it I tell some one or they find ot by themselfs, when i got hired i was told to read the service/privacy disclosures, the next time you take a PC to get repaired anywhere, read all the fine print!!!! the "worst buy" form is total bs, it includes parts saying that i have the right to take any information that i want out of the computer and give it to anybody i need. shocking yes,it also says that i can charge whatever i want for the repairs and if the customer does not pay i can keep his computer. in the 1.5 years ive worked there i have only seen 1 customer read every single word. and no, it was not professional i agree, but it was bloody hilarious! -flyguyty89 -flyguyty89
remember, its "worstbuy" their too cheap to have security, our "security Guard" is a 14 yr old kid who asks very politly to check your receipt at the door...cheap bastards, last week we had 2 guys walk out the back emergency exits of the store with 2 20inch iMacs. -flyguyty89
Hey TC! Thanks for your concern. I've been a little busier than usual lately, that's all. And I wanted to make sure my LART Shelter Membership was still valid before risking any comments. :-) -TheGhost
TC, there's a good chance that I'll be driving down to Kipling station this evening, if you'd care for a ride? Please let me know. -Bagheera
TC, can you please drop me an email? I would like to act on the discussion we had yesterday, and I'm very much afraid that I somehow deleted your reply to me! Silly me! -Bagheera
Don't suppose you could tell me the name of that Spam filter software your work uses? -BlackCat
"There aint no lag in my shag." BTW Nice pic (and legs), but you got me wondering.... whats behind your back? -burrkiss
'Cat: When Burkiss gets out of line, just spray him with a garden hose. (We tried hitting him with a rolled-up newspaper, but all he did was start panting and ask us to tell him how naughty he's been.) -MeanDean
Amazing how you managed to get the star without the increased posterior size. Unless of course it's an old piccy. Congrats on the star. -Rabbitt
OOOOo a new star! YAY! -Ulfgaard
