Happy Ass day, :) I used to work for Best Try in Vegas in the pc repair center and the STAR database ticket system would freeze and crash and go up and down all day long every day there, I'm assuming you were speaking of the same system, that was 7 months ago-sucks that they still havent gotten a better system. Maybe your luck will change and the store will have a major power outage tomarrow, that happened at my store three times and it was cool. -BluRaven
Paulie this is VirusJTG, I did it with a fewregistry entryes and 2 hidden files. 1 was a program that created, loaded and then search a binary search tree recursively, and the other are a list of 100,000 10 digit numbers (ramdomly created) that got laoded. -virusjtg

As far as having "fun" at B.B. goes, it was all in the part where I humiliated customers and still got paid for it. Otherwise it sucked. when they gave me the service tech job, they offered me too much of a raise. instead of talking it over with me to see if i'd take a cut, corporate told them to get rid of me. The acting GM (real one was fired for felony charges - fixing the books to get max bonus each month) got rid of me by accusing me of theft. That pretty much sums up Worst Buy's worth to me...

Paul, I didn't reply to your post about your ability to cope at work after your weekend retreat because of the last mini flame war between US & Canadians. I think it's great that you found a way to cope with the pressures of the job, and having had much of a similar experience several years ago, I can understand your peace. I hope that you can continue to channel this positive feeling and have an on-going support group to keep going at times when things get tough. I'm happy that you found a method and have the confidence to share that with others. -deltree/y
